The book of Job tells when one of the most holy men in Scripture is put to the test because of an agreement made between God and the Devil. In the first part of chapter 1: 1-2: 13, we see how a series of calamities afflicts to Job. In one day, he loses all his possessions and receives the sad news that all of his children are dead. he curse God. Even in the face of such affliction and pain, Job does not blaspheme against the Lord, on the contrary, he maintains an attitude of reverence and worship.
