SCAN WITH YOUR CAMERA
Tap Scan and place a QR code or barcode inside the center frame. The app reads the code and displays its contents, ready to use. Stop scanning whenever you want and start again with a tap.
READ CODES FROM IMAGES
Already have a QR code in a photo, screenshot, or downloaded image? Tap Open file and choose the image. Read a saved menu, a shared link, or a barcode without pointing your camera at another screen.
BROWSE MULTIPLE CODES
When an image contains several QR codes or barcodes, view the detected results one at a time. Use Back and Next to move between them, with a counter showing your place. Copy or open the result you have selected.
COPY AND OPEN RESULTS
Copy scanned text, links, and barcode numbers to the clipboard for use in messages, notes, and other apps. Open a web link in your browser or choose a compatible app for the scanned content. Text results can also be passed to another app through the app chooser.
QR AND BARCODE FORMATS
Read QR codes, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, ITF, Codabar, Data Matrix, PDF417, and Aztec. View the detected format alongside the decoded text.
A CLEAR VIEW OF EACH RESULT
A focused scan area, large result text, and simple controls help you move from a code to its contents. Scroll longer text inside the result area. Turn your device sideways to see the result beside the action buttons.
HOW TO SCAN
1. Open Scanner App and tap Scan.
2. Place the code inside the center frame.
3. Read the decoded text and tap Copy or Open in.
To scan an image instead, tap Open file and choose a photo or screenshot.
