The application aims to provide you with a freely accessible and always available visiting experience, like "an open-air museum", of the site of the ancient village of Vaux in its past and present history.
To answer the question “what was it like before?” : professions, buildings, furniture, social activities..., the application is structured around three themes:
- Life in a Meuse village at the end of the 19th century;
- Forest management of the red zone and protection of biodiversity for the future;
- One year of the Battle of Verdun and its consequences on the village.
