About this game

Lead Carthage to glory in Carthage: Bellum Punicum, a strategy game set in the Second Punic War. Command Hannibal Barca’s army against Rome in epic battles across Campaign, Custom, Historical, and Marathon Conquest modes.

GAME FEATURES:

- Campaign Mode: Follow Hannibal’s journey through 19 historical battles, including Cannae, Trebia, and Lake Trasimene. Unlock equipment, recruit mercenaries, manage resources, and interact with the Carthaginian Senate for reinforcements. Each battle impacts your army’s strength as you navigate challenges like supply convoys and ambushes. Customize troops, assign officers, and unlock new skills in a campaign where strategy matters most.

- Custom Battles: Create your own battles by choosing your army and enemy composition. Experiment with strategies and see how your tactics play out in real-time warfare.

- Marathon Conquest Mode: Test your endurance as enemies grow stronger with each battle. Face special boss battles every 5 levels and improve your army with earned points. Play as Carthage, Roman Republic, Iberians, Gauls, or Greeks and see how long you can survive.

- Realistic Battles: Experience the importance of planning and strategy with real-time commands sent through messengers. Battle across open fields, ambushes, and sieges. Destroy enemy commanders, raid camps, and protect your own in dynamic, historically inspired warfare.

It is very fun playing as hannibal, I like the historymarche style graphics, and the realistic battle simulation the only major problem I have with the game is that there are a few holes where I lost most of my army and I wasn't strong enough to defeat the enemy army and I could no longer afford to repair my army, and the only way time would progress is by winning battles, so can you please implement a feature where you can camp out and wait for the reinforcements to arrive?

Waiting and training your troops is a feature that I am going to add for the next major update. Thanks a lot for your suggestion and your review. I appreciate it a lot.

I love the game, it forces me to think for the long run on how I can supply my soldiers especially on campaign and conquest marathon modes, and what equipment would be suited for my play style. Maybe add a feature where u could split a unit like cavalry for performing the hammer and anvil and being able to hit the enemy units flank and rear. love the game excited for the Pc version.

A great game for strategy/tactics and Rome lovers. I love the overhead view with simple symbols for units, the ability to customize unit equipment to create specialized units. It portrays the historical difficulties of commanding a battle well with limited messengers and a delay between giving the order and the unit receiving it. Controls are pretty simple to pick up, the resource mechanics are slightly unclear but not too difficult to manage. Carthago delenda est!
