My fountain pens is the application about all of your past, present and future fountain pens and inks. It will give you an answer to the question: which fountain pens do I already have and why do I need one more? Or two?

The application enables the lovers of fountain pens to form their own personal database and keep track of their fountain pen and ink collection. The application contains detailed description of each fountain pen (manufacturer, model, filling system, etc.) which can be filled out directly or you can chose to import the information using Microsoft Excel or Apple Numbers.

Collection can be searched and sorted by manufacturer of model. Picture can also be joined to each fountain pen by taking it personally or using one from already existing gallery.

Probably the most useful feature is “price drops” where you can follow sales and special actions to expand your personal collection. At the end, don’t forget to stay updated: follow the most popular YouTube channels about fountain pens and add the ones you would like to follow, if already not included.

Really like the app. Currently, I am adding my collection to it. I would like to be able to add the body material and have been using the nib size field. I didn't see how size was different from nib stroke when it was importing and most of the time it seemed N/A. When backdating an ink, it glitches and doesn't show the filled ink on the list view. I deleted the pen to re-add the ink to have it show properly. This was only an issue cause I missed the date at the top and wanted to fix it later.

Reviewing v1.9 (June 20, 2022). Pretty nice app with one glaring problem. There is no way to edit the date when a pen is inked, it defaults only to the date and time on the phone when the data is entered. So, unless you enter the information from your inking on the exact date that you inked the pen, the data will be incorrect. I really like the ability to use RGB profiles to set the color for the inks.

Everything works really well, and the app overall makes it much easier for me to track my collection. However I think there could be some morr features added, such as preset pen options for popular pens. Also, where is Goulet?? As one of the biggest online retailers right now, I would think they would be in the price drops and youtube channels sections, however they are in neither. I had to add them manually to the youtube channels. They are my primary source for pen related stuff.
