StatusQuest is an innovative educational game developed within the XR4ED Horizon Europe initiative, focusing on accessibility and inclusion. It bridges the gap between blind, visually impaired, and sighted users through a collaborative experience that combines spatial audio and haptic feedback.
The game explores connections between Modern Mythology (pop culture, superheroes, cinema, music) and Ancient Culture, inviting players to collaborate on educational challenges set across historical and futuristic worlds. Designed for smartphones and tablets, StatusQuest adapts to museums, schools, and home environments.
Co-created with national associations for the blind in Germany and Italy, and supported by cultural institutions like museums and universities, the project promotes inclusive learning, cultural appreciation, and social interaction.
