North Tyneside Council working on behalf of the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority offer the Signal Survey app to help us monitor and map mobile signal strength across the region.

By using this app you are providing valuable, non identifiable information that we use to map areas of strong a weak signal for all of the mobile network providers. This allows us to then work with central government and the network operators to bring improvements to their networks for the benefit of residents and businesses within the region.

- Technology (LTE/NR)
- Signal Strength
- Latitude
- Longitude
- Date & Time of Reading

No user, device, or otherwise identifiable information is collected. It is impossible for us to map a reading back to the device it came from, or any one reading to any other reading.
