The update on Google Play worked in getting me past the login screen. It did take several minutes and when I was about to give up it loaded. I will play over the next few days and we will see then. Thanks

hey there's a small exploit I found; every time you log in and out the game considers it a new day for the log in bonus and I was able to get all of them in under an hour. Also the game keeps crashing but that's most likely because my phone is so old still fun none the less
