About this game

Looking to play Azul on your phone? Tiles offers the Azul experience against a computer opponent.

Tiles is a fun little puzzle game where you have to fill your board with colorful tiles. Collect adjacent tiles on the board to score big points. You'll have to think ahead though or else the TileBot might take the tiles you need!

Tiles is in active development, so expect frequent new additions and improvements. I appreciate any and all feedback.

It's a little buggy. Sometimes the computer cheats by putting two of the same color on one column/row, and sometimes the game ends even though neither player has filled a column. I do like the recent update that allows more gameplay customization, though selecting "random" for tilebox type does nothing.

Thank you for your feedback on the app. I will investigate the bugs you mentioned. The random tile box mode means tiles are selected completely at random at the start of a round. Regular azul mode draws them from a set of 20 tiles of each color, so if there are a lot of red tiles in the first round there will be less on later rounds.

I LOVE Azul. This app is pretty addicting. I play it more than any game on my phone RN. There are BIG issues though... The game makes it no secret that it controls the tile colors. Also, it's extremely glitchy. It will say that I lost when my end score is higher than the computers. The "cheating" aspect should end. It makes it frustrating. I know it's not really "cheating" but it has an upper hand when it controls all the tiles. It will allow zero colors I need. Kind of suspect.

Really good version of Azul. Plays well. The board is flipped by 90 degrees, so normal horizontal and vertical bonus end scoring rules are reversed. For those saying it's broken because sometimes it plays 5 rounds sometimes 6 etc... you need to check the Azul rules. The game ends once a vertical line has been completed (horizontal in original board game). Scoring works correctly. Getting the best scores involves placing tiles next to each other rather than separately across the board. šŸ‘šŸ»

What’s new

**patch 4.02- Added variations in strategy to make opponents less likely to focus on ending the game quickly.
Major update. Adds 3 and 4 player mode to phones. Adds selecting different board types, including random, fixed, and funky! Significant improvement to AI players. Added very strong "extreme" difficulty. Adds allowing different starting player
