Wondering how to start earning money legally, but without setting up a company?

PANTAX is a free application that will help you run your own unregistered business step by step. This includes issuing invoices, recording revenues, and settling costs. The application will ensure all limits related to such activities.

WHAT IS AN UNREGISTERED BUSINESS?
For several years now, there has been no need to register a company in Poland if the income from the business does not exceed 3/4 of the minimum wage, i.e. in 2025: PLN 3,499.50 per month.
This is the maximum amount you can earn by selling goods, including handicrafts. But also by providing small services. The condition is that you have not run a business in the last 5 years.

WHAT IS A PRIVATE SALE?
A private sale is when you sell an item (e.g. clothes, a computer, a table, a coin collection) that you bought for your own needs, and not with the intention of reselling it for profit.
If more than half a year has passed since you bought the item, you do not have to pay tax on such a sale at all. If you have had the item for less, you have to settle, but you will only pay tax if you sold the item for profit. And most importantly, you do not have to include such a sale in your DN limit!
This is where PANTAX comes in handy, where you can register both private sales and sales within the DN, and the application will create two separate records of these sales for you, so that you do not exceed the limit!

WHAT GOODS AND SERVICES CAN BE SELLED AS AN UNREGISTERED ACTIVITY?
You cannot conduct regulated activities within the DN (e.g. medical or security). You also cannot sell so-called sensitive goods – such as alcohol or fuel.

Apart from that – there are basically no restrictions. You can trade the same goods on DN and on the same terms as any entrepreneur. You can provide services, e.g. cosmetics or hairdressing, minor repairs, finishing, marketing, tutoring, photography, cleaning.

You can also sell your own products: handicrafts or e-books.
