About this game

Pink Twist is a bubble shooter built around a turning core rather than a wall. A cluster of orbs is packed in a hexagon around a glowing centre in the middle of the screen, and the whole thing rotates while you play. Your launcher sits at the bottom and always fires upward, so the shot you want depends entirely on which face of the core happens to be turned toward you.

You are not at the mercy of the spin. Swipe sideways across the board and the cluster turns with your finger, and every orb that lands knocks it round a little further, so a well placed shot sets up the next one. The core drifts back to its own lazy rotation between shots, which means timing matters as much as aim.

Three or more touching orbs of the same colour burst. What makes the core different from a flat wall is that every orb has to trace a path back to the centre to stay attached. Blow away the joint holding an arm on and the entire arm breaks off at once, which is worth far more than the burst itself. Reading the cluster for those load bearing orbs is the whole skill of the game.

Each orbit gives you a fixed number of shots. Run out while orbs are still attached and the orbit is lost. Feed the core badly and it swells outward instead of shrinking, and if it grows past the dashed ring the orbit is lost that way too, so there is real pressure to make every shot remove something.

Thirty orbits build from a small three colour cluster up to a dense six colour core with a tight shot budget. Orbs earned from cleared orbits buy three boosters. A bomb bubble tears out a patch of mixed colours outright, a rainbow bubble takes the colour of whatever it lands against, and a freeze field holds the core perfectly still for three shots.

Six bubble skins unlock as you progress, from Neon Orchid through to Nova Bloom, and any unlocked skin can be set as the one you play with. Ten achievements follow your career, a leaderboard ranks your total score against nine other players, and a career screen keeps every statistic worth knowing.
