Feb, 9, 2023 - first review - Best word game app available. Update April 29, 2026 - this is still the best scrabble-type app available. No fancy things asking for me for extra clicks or to buy coins and such, just a solid game for up to 4 players. I also like the options for timed turns or no time limits as well as options for customization of the bonus tile placement.

After playing Words With Friends for years I had enough of the gimmicks and had to find something else. I initially switched to Wordfeud and enjoyed that for a few years before finding Wurdian. Wurdian is the best of the bunch! No gimmicks, no power ups, great board layouts with custom colors, tournaments, 2-4 player games, random and custom board layouts, multiple languages, and tons of fun!

Top notch app, especially when compared to officially licensed apps. No scummy sales tactics here, super f2p friendly if you refer your friends, but the ads aren't bad at all, just the basic banner ones. Support for lotsa languages, suggestions with word validity or lack thereof are possible to make, boards are quite customizable with modifier files and colors. Only downside is that English players are apparently lacking ( I only play with a contact of mine). Deserves so much more though!
