The FUTUR 21 app is a digital extension of the »FUTUR 21 – art industry culture« catalogue. Selected content is brought to life using augmented reality – videos and 3D objects offer additional insights into the artistic works presented in the catalogue.

These were the key questions of the "FUTUR 21 - art industry culture" project, which took place between November 2021 and April 2022 at the 16 industrial museums of the regional associations of Rhineland and Westphalia-Lippe and included a conference and a media art festival with temporary and permanent works of art.
The publication brings science and art together. Impulses for a new industrial culture are negotiated in ten specialist contributions. The volume also provides an overview of the festival's artistic works. The publication is expanded by AR interventions by the artist duo Refrakt.
