I've done in-person many times. This mobile app version was way better! Here's why: 1) affordable, 2) can take it any day & any time, even over multiple days, 3) only 1.5 hours or so, but like I said... can break it up by the 4 sections, 4) quizzes that help you learn & remember, 5) short video demos, 6) incredible practice sessions of compression for cadence & depth, 7) practice as much as you want, 8) great final evaluation of cpr that's better than in-person, 9) instant notification of pass

The app doesn't accout for the button location for using an Android on the chest compressions, more applicable for an iPhone based on the graphic they showed, so it was kind of tricky getting a solid hold on my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. It would be easier to hold the phone at the base while doing the chest compressions; no buttons to worry about at all.

Horrible App. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!!!!! This app itself is easy to use. The quiz part is doable. But the motion sensor sucks. It's impossible to get the depth and rhythm right. I used two different phones to try it. Thanks for wasting my time and money. Guess I'll have to go and certify in person...which is going to put me past the date for the other certification I needed this certification to take. Which is going to cost me more money to re-take. Would give this app negative stars if possible.
