I want to like it because of the fun levels and retro graphics, but 2 MINUTE ADS, expensive currency, and the beginning is just ridiculous. You have open crates for gear, but all the gear you get is plant element, then you are shoved into electric levels with no electric gear, and are forced to run around weak and buck-naked. How do you progress making 40 gold every failed game when the crates are 1K? And you are encouraged to spend all your gold with pop-ups before you play?

One of the more fun and varied rogueL wave survival games with a lot of content and no discernable pay wall EXCEPT I've lost more than half of my ad bonuses from confusing and random rules for clicking something at the wrong time or the wrong place. It feels deliberate considering the ad bonuses are generous and it would be difficult to play if you can't afford IAPs. 5 stars otherwise

It's an overall good game, however I find there is an issue with the gameplay. When a power up appears during the battle, it doesn't ease back to the battle as smoothly, and if there are enemies close by, you can't do anything to evade them. There should be like a slow motion once the power up is selected, to give you time to move the player.
