About this game

melod is a classic music/rhythm game that lets you play great songs by a wide variety of indie artists—discover new music and chase high scores!

There are two types of instrumentals to play: "Melody" and "Rhythm"! Be warned: "Rhythm" mode adds a fifth "bass pedal" note that drastically increases the level of difficulty. Charts reflect the notes of the song, and your part drops if you miss notes. Explore the inner machinations of the music in the game!

You can play the game on "Chill" or on "Challenge" mode. "Chill" gives an easier, relaxing experience, while "challenge" gives the full experience, pushing your music-gaming skills as far as they can go.

Along with the free experience, you can also purchase a "melodx" subscription, which gives you access to a selection of playable songs that will develop over time. Other songs can be purchased individually.

I love this game in concept, and I feel with a little more work this could become my favorite game. But as of right now the keys are too small and sadly unresponsive at times. Not every note works when you press it. Its gets very frustrating. But the game is fun, and the songs are pretty! If you get annoyed if things don't work 100% maybe wait for future patches. Love the game creator, keep it up!

melod is quite buggy on Android. Notes and only the notes jitter, which I find bizarre as things like the animation when you press a note appears to run smooth. Othertimes the song simply wont start. I've tried messing with Samsung's Game Booster and even limiting my phone to 60hz, but I've had no luck. I was going to buy melodx after switching to Android but I'm having second thoughts now. Other than that, it's a pretty solid game (assuming you have a spare iPhone).

This game is enjoyable. It's a bit difficult but there's nothing wrong with that, it gives you an easier option too. However sometimes while I'm holding a long note, it cuts out as if I lifted my finger before the end of the note, even when I didn't. Also, when two long notes come at the same time, I will tap on both of them but only one works. I guess my only issue with it is note responsiveness, but other that, really good. Great visuals, and good music. There's a good variety of music too.
