Polygon: "My Child Lebensborn tells a disturbing tale about innocents in the aftermath of WW2”
LevelUp: “The strongest game experience that I have ever had.”

You adopt a young Lebensborn child in Norway after WW2, but parenting will be hard as your child grows up in a hostile and hateful environment. See a different side of the war, inspired by the true stories of the Lebensborn children. Discover how hatred of our enemies continues to create victims, even after victory.

Discover their past and support them in the present. You must balance your time and resources to provide for your child. You will find answers to the hard questions; about their history, the hatred, bullying and the passing of blame.

Can you help Klaus/Karin cope with the heavy inheritance of the German occupation, so they will find their place in a country that is celebrating its freedom.
You can make a difference.

Key Features:
- Influence the child’s feelings, personality, and worldview through your choices.
- Look for the effects of your choices in your child’s expressions and body language.
- Explore a gripping storyline based upon true events.
- Earn money as you work, then cook, craft, forage, and play.
- Use your time and meager resources wisely.
- Adopt a boy or girl, and support them through a defining year of their life.

Caution: Some devices with only 1GB available memory have shown problems with running this game.

This game is based on difficult and heavy topics, not suitable for young children.

Cute game with a dark setting. I loved every minute I played, even if I had to reboot the game a couple times - something I am NOT docking the game for. To explain it briefly, my game did crash whenever I played for more than a day (in game). After this, it needed me to fully close the game and restart whatever progress (if any) I had on the next day. All of this - in my opinion - is attributed to my phone being "slightly" out of date. Anyway! Great game!

I didn't purchase the whole game, but even then it struck me as such a raw experience. The dialogue is great and the choices feel extremely realistic. Sometimes, as a parent, you have to make hard choices that can hurt your child's trust. For that child to also be born in such a turbulent time and subjected to the hate that brings? It's heartbreaking and the game, even in just the small bit I played, covers that well.

This game breaks my heart. I haven't finished it yet, but its so sad, yet amazing! There is one error with the photos. Any names in the photo gallery say Klaus, even though I picked Karin. It doesn't interfere with the gameplay, though, so it's fine. It was a really low price despite how great the game is. For those who don't know, most of the money you spend on this goes to a charity. Very little goes to the developers, unlike most games. 10/10, would recommend!
