Using this app, you can either search a specific product using the Product Search function or scan a product’s UPC code or SmartLabel QR code on the package. Either approach will take you to a variety of information, including:

It has pretty good information even telling what each ingredient in products are. The only problem I see with it is the really loud ping sound it makes when you scan something. And it's like a notification so turning just your sound off doesn't stop it but there is an option to turn it off. There is also links to product websites, although that most likely isn't something anyone would be interested in unless it's a less known brand they're looking for more products from.

I downloaded this app because I have severe food allergies. Unfortunately, when I was trying to test this at home, all it does is close itself as soon as I try to scan something. I have used the website version while researching food online and looked forward to something on the go, but it looks like it won't happen.

I'm confused and having heart palpitations from this app. That BEEP is the loudest BEEP my phone has ever made. It gave me a heart attack the first time and then the second time woke my dog up and then everyone else. I really wasn't expecting any sound first time and then I really wasn't expecting any sound the second time after I turned off all sound on my phone. Why would you ignore people's own sound settings like that? That annoys me.
