About this game

A short story reminiscent of titles such as Simulacra, Replica and A Normal Lost Phone. Inspired by games such as Danganronpa and the Zero Escape series, Trials of Harmony's narrative focuses around a Death Game told entirely through the perspective of a mobile messaging app. šŸ“±

In this dark narrative you'll find yourself imprisoned thousands of feet underground and forced to lead a group of mismatched survivors through a series of life-threatening games.

Who's behind all of these abductions and blood-chilling riddles?
And why make them go through all of this?
Will you be able to choose who lives...
...and who ultimately fails the Trials of Harmony.

šŸ—ļø Key Features:

šŸ’¬ Meaningful choices that directly affect the progression of the narrative;
šŸ’Æ A points-based system that dictates the survivability of the characters around you;
šŸ§© Logic riddles and word-puzzles;
ā±ļø An estimated length of 10 (nail biting and nerve racking!) hours.
šŸ“š An original "short" story, roughly 43,000 words long. Expect lots of reading!

*Please note that Trials of Harmony is currently only available in English*

Worth the price but needs polish. Poor UI design kept me from giving it 5 stars. Needs a skip feature to speed up the dialogue, and the save/load menu could use a rework. It's too easy to accidentally click load rather than delete, easier to just make a new save instead and two choices for cancelling seems redundant.. The story starts off a bit slow and didn't hook me at first but I stuck to it and ended up liking it in the end. Don't expect to be amazed, but for a budget VN it delivers.

Thank you for leaving a review! We greatly appreciate your constructive comments and will take them into account for our next build :) Both a skip button and a text speed slider are already present in this current build, however. They can be accessed inside a chat window by tapping the top right downwards arrow. Stay awesome!

This could be the best game in the world and I would never know cuz I accidentally hit the home key and the 2 seconds I was gone from the game made it reset my progress. So many games have instant save. Why does this one not? And how do I get my money back? Edit. It never auto saved and I was so far back there was no way I was gonna sit and fast forward through 10 minute of dialogue and have to play the mini game all over. I'm leaving my review.

Hi Cassandra. I'm sorry you ended up having a bad experience with our game :( All I can say is that the game does auto-save fairly frequently and a skip button is provided, allowing you to get right back where you were in a matter of seconds. Regarding refunds please refer to this next link https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637?hl=en

Definitely quench my thirst for a Danganronpa style game, been looking all over playstore for a game similar to it and this by far is the best one yet. I bought it on sale and honestly would've bought it with the original price as well, it was worth it. Looking forward for more of your work dev! Max points to this gem!
