Become a WWI General, commanding your army across the historic battlefield of the Western Front and Eastern Front. Engage in immersive real-time strategy (RTS) and shape the course of history, from the opening action of 1914 to the brutal trench warfare of 1917 and the final offensives of 1918. In this theater of total war you will get to play as the general for every major nation that participated in WW1, both the Allies and the Central Powers.

Engage in intense frontline combat and action, deploying a variety of military units, including infantry, tanks, and powerful artillery. Lead your troops through legendary battles such as the Somme, Verdun, and Gallipoli, and fight for victory in a relentless contest for strategic supremacy. Conquer enemy bunkers, survive waves of attacks, and utilize your tactic to achieve conquest.

This isn't just a WW1 experience. The sandbox mode allows for custom battles of any era. Design your own RTS battles, build fortifications such as bunkers, place artillery cannons and set up your defenses for survival. You decide how major you want the fight to be, spawn more than a 1000 soldiers fighting each other. Recreate famous moments from WW2 (WWII), including the pivotal D Day (1944) landings and command your armies on the beaches of Normandy. Imagine bringing a WW2 Tank to a Napoleonic era battle! Or even modern soldiers from a hypothetical WW3 scenario. Switch between 1917 and 1945, or equip your troops with uniforms from any era.

Ratings and reviews

I have been playing this game for a couple years and I have never gotten bored of it. The units are just different enough between the campaigns to keep things fresh but not too dissimilar that it feels unrealistic. The developers release new campaigns and update old ones not infrequently. By far in a way, one of the best mobile games.

this wolrd war 1 game is great, maybe the best, i don't have much to say or any bad things, but I do have one, and it's that fact the rewards you get after each level is a bit lower then I expected but still does its function on giving the player coins, to me it feels a bit grindy, that's not a bad thing either, other then that, it's a great game :PS love the Belgium update

I really love this game, I've been playing it for around 3 years. the only thing is that I finished all the french, British, and German levels in hard mode and I didn't get the rewards for finishing them. I don't know if it's only like that for me but I would really appreciate it if that got fixed; I was really looking forward to getting those coins. Edit: I just now realized that it might be part of the paid-for growth fund, so I'm changing it to 5 stars. Innocent untill proven guilty.
