About this app
From funny military stories and relatable tales of military life to spine-chilling ghost stories.
Search and save 212 stories, and continue reading from where you left off.
From fellow recruits met in boot camp and unforgettable superiors and subordinates to laugh-out-loud daily routines and memorable experiences, Guntori is an app that collects and reads military stories and tales of military life.
We have added 38 original military stories to the existing 174 entries. Original works are marked in the text, and not all stories are verified true events.
■ Quickly find the story you want
Search by title and text, and select between Read, Unread, and Unlocked statuses. If you are unsure what to read, try Random Reading to discover stories.
■ Save and continue from where you left off
Save stories that stick in your mind to your library. View stories you are currently reading and stories you have read, and you can continue reading from where you left off even if you reopen the app.
■ Comfortable reading for you
Adjust font size in four levels and select Light, Dark, or System themes. Banner or interstitial ads are not displayed while reading the content.
■ Snack and Premium Usage Guide
Upon initial installation, 100 Snacks are provided, allowing you to unlock 25 stories.
You can unlock a story for 4 Snacks, and the required number of Snacks will be displayed before you open it. Once a story is unlocked, Snacks will not be deducted again.
If you watch a reward ad to the end, you have an equal chance of receiving one of the following: 15, 20, 25, 30, or 35 Snacks. Ad availability depends on your connection status and ad stock.
Premium is a one-time purchase that allows you to read all stories without Snack deductions or ads. Please check the prices for each product on the app and Google Play purchase screens.
■ Data and Purchase Restoration
The original story text is included in the app. Unlocked stories can be read offline, but an internet connection is required for ads and purchases.
Reading history, saved lists, Snacks, and unlock history are stored on your device. Please be careful as you may lose them if you delete the app or delete your data. Consumable Snack purchases cannot be restored to another device.
Please use the same Google account to restore your Premium purchases. If you are unable to restore Premium purchases that were consumed in a previous version, please contact Customer Support with your order number.
Join Guntori for a short break that brings back memories of the military.
