About this game

Dreamscape combines the strategy and engagement of popular base-building games with imaginative reading passages and interactive questions to create a ferociously fun literacy game! Players of Dreamscape are dropped into the realm of dreams and are tasked with defending their “dwell” (the place where their own dreams live and are created) from invading “reveries” (dream creatures). In order to collect resources and build new structures to defend their dwell, students must read passages and answer comprehension questions. The goal of the game is to build your dwell to higher and higher levels, create new reveries of your own, and collect shards to climb up the leaderboard and face-off against other players!

The update has a few issues. You have to select and upgrade one wall at a time rather than a row; sometimes it says you don't have enough gold to upgrade units when you do; you can't take resources now from the people you challenge - you just take their crystals which seems a bit pointless now; lastly, it skips the reward chest if you press another question. The game is still very fun to play with my students, but if these things could be fixed, it would be much better. Thank you

Hello, a fix for being unable to upgrade buildings even when you have enough imaginanium will be releasing with the next update. When challenging others, you are now able to take their miraj & imaginanium again. We'll be looking into wall selection and the reward chests, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback.

On level 23 of single player if you get the first question wrong you will get an impossible question (Arrange the answers from biggest to smallest). And your game is good. Thank you!

Hi Ryan, thanks for your feedback! Content is geared for students in grades 3 and up. Grades 1 & 2 content is minimal and is only for grade 3+ students who are missing reading comprehension skills from those grades. Dreamscape's not appropriate for learning how to read as the content is focused on reading comprehension, not reading instruction.
