HOW DOES THE APP WORK?


Using a top of the line laser from the land surveying industry, this advanced technology scans the surface of each green for millions of data points that are accurate to the millimeter to pick up even the most subtle elevation changes.


It displays an interactive topography map for each green we've scanned. You can zoom in and out to see the contours and slope percentages, adjust the grid, view a spinning 3D animation, and even calculate your exact putt line (StrackaLine) by setting the hole location and your ball location. Just like a video game, but the information is real!


Available for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod, using raw X, Y, Z data points, the device:


● Will calculate all the one inch contours of the putting green

● Will calculate the slope percentages for the whole putting green

● Will calculate the Fall Lines for each hole location

● Will show you the approach angle to the green

● Will calculate the target of your putt

Ratings and reviews

The App is fine. It is a browser skin for the website. It has no caching functionality, or scoring functionality. The Range (hole) view loads reasonably fast. The Green view is generated new each time you load it and seems to take 10 seconds on average on WiFi and can take 20 seconds or more. If it fails, it is very hard to force it to reload. This gets even worse when connected over cellular. This doesn't work very well for use while on the course.

No customer service!! I've emailed and called them and never got a response or answer. The app is basically a skin to the website, as already mentioned. It's great for planning a tournament ahead of time, but terrible for on-course use, especially in fast play. Not to mention it doesn't have GPS functionality.

Dumb app. Whoever made it clearly just wanted to torture people. It's not intuitive at all. You can't find where to eve sign up for a subscription to the app. It's barely functional. It's joke looking for pricing or how to even use thing.
