Svampguiden — your digital guide to Nordic mushrooms, written by mycologist Michael Krikorev.


All species descriptions and photos in the app come from Krikorev, who works at the SLU Swedish Species Information Centre (Artdatabanken) in Uppsala, has written multiple books about mushrooms, and leads mushroom courses and excursions in the autumn. Krikorev also runs svampguiden.com, Sweden's most visited mushroom site. This means that the informative texts you rely on while out in the forest are written by an expert in this field, not generated by an AI. Svampguiden has been the leading mushroom app on Google Play since 2010.
