Very subtle indication that there might be a wire there, it could be a nail, might even be a stud!?🧐 it could be a dog hair stuck in your paint! My 22 year old stud finder with a tired battery in it, does a better job! I know it said wire finder, but it didn't find anything really! At this point I have 2 options, I can see if I can afford a infrared unit(?), or start cutting holes in the wallboard, all over the place! D

Wow, the reviews are certainly polarized on this one. And yeah, I can tell that most of them are identical and obviously fake; shame on the developer. However, I will say this, it worked for me. Hold it over an outlet and watch the number on the display change, then slide it on the wall around the outlet and look for where the number changes similarly. That's where the wire goes. Okay, it might not help you if you want to drill into a blank wall somewhere, but if you're working near an outlet, yeah, it can help. Those who say it doesn't work, do they have the required hardware in their phone? Although I'd hope the app would realize this and say "Nope, this isn't gonna work, sorry, your phone isn't up to the job."
