At first glance, Flappy Zombie can be identified as a mere plankton in the sea of modern Computer Science. However, when one perceives the true depth and metaphorical passion that has been coerced into this title, they may change their opinion. Not one mere review could describe this metafigure of a "game". Most importantly, the zombie. Zombie is, of course, the modern consumer. A "zombie" to all truth that is around them. The brain, although a poor metaphor, is the media. The zombie is pleased when it consumes the media. Blinded by a blanket of discomforting corporate truth, he feels a sense of higher intellect than his peers (assuming there are peers in this metaphorical world). I believe that the brain is a bad metaphor as it implies that the knowledge is true. This, obviously, is the very opposite of the case. This zombie is in the hayday of corporate interference with his zombie establishment. As this becomes apparent throughout the storyline of the game, zombie is faced with a choice. He may easily "dive" for the "brain". However, in doing this he will be fueled, only to be manipulated by the corporate masses. He may also choose to be crushed by the floating pillars. The pillars are obviously the civilian establishment of "intellectuals". If zombie does not consume the brain, when the pillars inevitably come crashing down on him, he will be viewed as a lesser being. He will be disregarded as a "conspiracy theorist" or "guardian of hate". But when the corporate mob of the evil dungeon (the marketplace) consumes them, they will not have a chance to see the light. The light of enlightenment. In all, this game forces one to make a choice. They may idly play it as a time-waster and as a support module for their dear friend Ryan, or they may use it as an educational tool for a more enlightened future. A future where no corporate media brainwashes the public, a future where no corrupt politicians manipulates the commonman, a future where no deceived masses trample any one individual that does not agree with their thinking. A future, of the people.
