About this game

You come from a noble family of patricians of the Roman Empire. When the emperor died, in the course of bloody intrigues, your family seized power in Rome. The senators have chosen you as the new emperor. In Rome, you have advisers and hidden enemies. Your enemies and envious people are just waiting for the moment to throw you off the throne. In order not to give rivals a single chance, it is necessary to balance between the different interests of the citizens of Rome.

There are senators who are always scheming against each other.
There is a plebs (people) who demand "bread and circuses" and hate the rich.
There are military leaders of the Roman legions who want to receive more salaries and awards.
There is a treasury, without which the empire will plunge into chaos and desolation.
You have to constantly make difficult decisions. And don't forget about personal pleasures. Otherwise, why do you need the title and power of the emperor?
