About this game

"Das Reich" is a II. World War historical literacy quiz (trivia) application in Hungarian (or from a Hungarian developer), in which you have to choose the correct answer from 4 options to questions about the Second World War. With this, we can develop or test our knowledge, and compare the results with others.
It is intended for elementary school students in the 7th and 8th grades, high school students, and adults interested in the Second World War.

It has 2 game modes:
Practice mode:
You have to choose 15 questions, which can be narrowed down either by years or by Hungarian-related topics, and the difficulty can also be set in 3 levels. Practice can be started when at least 15 potential questions remain in the reduced database. For each question, the correct answer will also be displayed.

Challenge mode:
Depending on the ever-expanding database, we receive questions, where the first third of the questions fall into the easy category, the second into the medium category, and the third third into the difficult category. After answering, the correct answer is not visible, only that we have chosen the right or wrong option.
We have a few lives, if we answer wrong we lose one. If none remain, then the game is over and the score will be our result.

At the end of the quiz, we can get a small evaluation based on the result achieved.

Good luck!

ui.: The first version of the "'Das Reich" program was published for PC in the mid-'90s, as an appendix to a computer technology magazine with a 1.44" floppy disk attachment.
