About this game

The Silent Archivist
A quiet village, a forgotten corner of the world, and the beginning of your “adventurer management” fantasy.

The protagonist who has lost their voice, and the young man whose life was saved—together they build a small base in the remote village of Windarion, where adventurers gather and set out on their journeys.

The Silent Archivist is an idle fantasy simulation game where you recruit adventurers, send them on quests, and strengthen your base using the rewards they bring back.

Game Features
• You do not fight—you guide and support adventurers from your base.
• The combination of adventurers and quests shapes the growth of the village and the stories recorded over time.

◆ Recruit Adventurers & Send Them on Quests
• Hire adventurers with different personalities and jobs
• Choose proper quests and form suitable parties
• Successes and failures are all recorded as part of your growing archive

◆ Strengthen Your Base & Develop the Village
• Upgrade facilities such as lodgings, shops, storage, and blacksmiths
• Improve income and efficiency through facility development
• A stronger base allows stronger adventurers to join

◆ Expand Exploration Areas
• Discover new regions and unlock new quests
• Face different monsters and rewards in each area
• Your decisions influence the direction of the entire village

◆ Idle Progression & Quiet Stories
• Quests progress automatically, even while offline
• Review the results of returning adventurers and plan your next steps
• Enjoy the feeling of reading a growing “record book” of adventures

Recommended For
• Players who enjoy character growth and base-building
• Those who prefer strategy over action
• People who want to enjoy a calm world and slow-paced storytelling

Your Quiet Footprints
Every victory, failure, and step of growth becomes part of your base’s history. A story starting from a small village will eventually lead to a grand journey.

Build your own base and write your own records in The Silent Archivist.

Despite the very slow pace, I'm finding I'm enjoying checking in on my adventurers every few hours and slowly building up my base, my roster (currently just 2!) and my exploration of the map. I do wish there was a bit more to DO during the downtime. Minigames maybe? I also wish I could have a few more adventurers to manage, send for training, etc in this early stage. The slow pace may turn people off. But I also feel like there's a story here that I'm curious to find out more about.

Thank you for the thoughtful review! I’m glad you’re enjoying the slow “check in every few hours” pace and slowly building up your base, roster, and map exploration. I also appreciate your suggestions about having more to do during downtime and getting a few more adventurers earlier. I’m happy the story has you curious to see more.

It's a really slow paced game with a lot of trials and errors, but it's definitely one of the better games I've played on android. The ads can be hidden after an initial purchase, and it grants quicker access to additional characters. The newly added wiki page looks amazing, but I liked the fact that the map was hidden. The wiki page map takes away the exploration aspect of the game. I would def recommend joining a guild for further guidance, as the community chat can be difficult to track!

For those who like dawn out, long term idle/base building games, this is a good pick. be warned, the beginning can be slow and without a second adventurer to go in quests, it can feel real brutal. There aren't any connections in the game I've seen that give directions or hint on where to go to increase the number of adventurers besides upgrading the quarters. I had to go research this. There are hints, for other things. The setup seems thought out. It's worth a try to see if you like it.

Thank you for your review. We’re glad you found the game worth trying. If you want to increase your adventurers, try exploring to the east to find the Mansion, then complete some quests there to unlock a lodging upgrade.

What’s new

-Trial guild event
-> I would appreciate it if you could write your impressions in X, etc.
-Added 1 more adventurer hire for those who have purchased the full version and those who have not.
-Added shield equipment for heavy axe guards.
-> However, the shield's defense is only increased by half.
-> Instead, the attack power while in the job has been lowered slightly.
-Improved a little the defense of the sword-fighter's main parameter.
