locally is an on-device AI assistant for writing, planning, learning, and everyday questions. Chat with Gemma or Qwen, speak instead of typing, and keep your tasks, notes, and saved prompts together.

CHAT OFFLINE
Download a model, then use it without an internet connection. Choose the recommended Gemma 4 E2B or smaller Qwen models. Get readable replies with lists, tables, and code, and revisit conversations when history is enabled.

SPEAK AND LISTEN
Dictate messages with local Whisper speech recognition in multiple languages. Live mode listens, sends your words after a pause, speaks the answer, and listens again. Choose English voices and adjust speaking speed, with Italian voices available as a preview. Optional Android on-device recognition depends on your device and installed language support; Whisper remains the default.

ASK ABOUT PHOTOS
Attach a camera photo and ask a vision-capable model about what it sees. You can also allow a model to request individual photos. Camera access is optional and under your control.

KEEP THINGS ORGANIZED
Create tasks with due dates and importance, keep notes, and save prompts to use again. With tools enabled, ask the assistant to add tasks or save a note. Tasks, notes, and prompts are shared across profiles. Due dates do not schedule notifications.

MAKE SPACE FOR DIFFERENT PROJECTS
Create named profiles with separate instructions, conversations, and optional memory. With memory and tools enabled, the assistant can save useful details for later chats. Review, delete, or turn off profile memory whenever you choose.

CHOOSE YOUR TOOLS
Use local calculator and date/time tools. Optionally let the model read public web pages and feeds by URL. Web reading is off by default; it is not a search engine, and some pages cannot be read. Save model instructions, thinking preferences, context size, and tool permissions for each model.

CONTROL YOUR DATA
AI processing, speech recognition, and speech synthesis run on your device. No separate locally account is required. Conversation history is optional. Export your saved data and current drafts, including photos, profiles, tasks, and notes, in a ZIP file through your device's share sheet. Model weights are not included.

GET STARTED
The first-launch tour starts the recommended model download and shows its progress and cancellation controls. Android downloads can continue in the background, subject to system restrictions. Model downloads require internet access and device storage. Optional web tools send requested URLs to the websites you visit.

Requires Android 12 or later. Model compatibility, available features, and response speed depend on your device and selected model. AI can make mistakes; check important information.
