About this game

Coccioli are small “waste” that we will ideally pass to someone else, like a baton in a relay race, and not throw away. Being anthropomorphic objects, this waste will look at us with their big puppy eyes to be accompanied in their recycling process, because they cannot do it alone and we need the help of each of us!
We will then be responsible for their transformation into the next object in which the waste will be recycled into animated characters called Coccioli (cocci puppies). These become the protagonists of an app with Augmented Reality and trekking routes in the Piacenza valleys. The app is configured as an educational video game, where users interact with Coccioli, learning about correct waste disposal and the environment. Each Cocciolo can evolve, with specific training determined by educational tests at stations along the routes, encouraging recycling and circular ethics. Coccioli acts as a connection between technology and nature, inviting people to rediscover nature and share experiences through social sharing and community building.

Thanks to TrailValley's existing technology, the Coccioli app will be geolocalized on some of the most beautiful circular trekking trails in the Piacenza valleys, specifically for the upper Val Nure area.
