You need maps that work when you have zero cell service. With Nature Path Guide, all the trail routes and elevation profiles are baked right into the application. You just pick a path based on difficulty or region and start walking.

If you spot a strange bird or an interesting tree, it helps to know what you are looking at. There is a built-in encyclopedia inside Nature Path Guide covering common plants and animals. You can quickly pull up:
