About this app

This simple shopping list is actually arose out of necessity.
There are already many similar apps. But most of them are overloaded, have many errors or problems with synchronizing. I often lost my purchases or previous purchases came back as if by magic.

This app is kept very simple.
You can add products to the shopping list. To each product a category is assigned.
And the categories are sorted, how you will find them in YOUR shop.

The app also keeps track of which products belong to which category.
If you add "cheese" and select the category "dairy products", so that is saved.
If you need the next time "cheese", then you must not enter the category, because the app knows it already. So you can just enter a "c" and the cheese appears in the selection automatically. A tip on it adds the product to the shopping list in the appropriate category.

Easy and simple!
No more sorting by hand.
Only type the first few letters and let complete the correct product from the list.


Of course, you can also manage the items (edit category / quantity / unit).
But everything is very simple.
You can also manage the categories (add, remove, sort).


In addition, you can backup your entries and database very easy to your Google Drive.
So you have a backup, which you can re-import, for example when you change your mobile phone.

Good app. However after I check off the items purchased, then delete them from the "deleted" section they are hard to find again. For example I may have 30 items listed under "Meats". I cannot look under the Meats category to see what I called the item. I have to scan through hundreds in the master list and hope I find it. I wish I could view and select from my categories. I like the app.

Amazing! Remembers everything added. I've added food emoji's to each category list. Able to use voice input if I choose. No ads or bloatware in this app. Wishlist: It would be nice to have a note section. Update: I've used this app since 2020, and it gets added to every phone I upgrade to. I'm a category instore shopper & this is perfect for that use. I also like the text size choices. Only 1 list available, so different stores would need to be in categories if 1 list doesn't work for you.

REVIEW OF DEC., 2019: - Agggh!!! I think I'm going to LOVE this app! Though I'm still in the process of building my master list, this app seems to be everything I wanted. To start with -- it's SIMPLE. It does one thing and, as far as I can tell, does it really well. For me, the best thing is the Deleted list at the bottom. I like to build my grocery list by scanning down a master list and simply ticking off what I need to get for this shopping trip, and the Deleted list allows me to use the app that way. I changed my categories and their sort order so that they are the different aisles of the store I shop at. So when I untick an item from the deleted list, it pops up top to display in the order that I shop in. GREAT!!! The app is quite intuitive -- everything works pretty much the way you'd expect it to, just from looking at it. I can't think of a single other thing I would want in this app. So glad you didn't fill it up with extra bells & whistles. I wouldn't have thought of including a backup to Google Drive, but I'm glad you did. Who knows when that could be a lifesaver. Many thanks for developing this app.
