This was unbelievably deep for being a cheap mobile VR game. It was nearly as involved as a Metroid Prime game. I can't believe the amount of care and love that went into it; the devs went above and beyond any reasonable expectation. The controls are a perfect model for anyone looking to create a free-roaming VR experience. The amount of depth they acheived with a simple Daydream controller is truly impressive.

Excellent adventure game for first-gen VR. The story is good 3 hours long, and even though the environments aren't the most detailed, they are accompanied by wonderful sound and music, solid mechanics (of jetpacking around, doing environmental puzzles, other elements that are gradually introduced during the game), optional narrative text and varying ambience that drive the plot forward and don't let it get repetitive. The only thing I didn't understand was the point of the "blue pick"-ups, they didn't seem to be doing anything. Overall, Eclipse manages to play with scale to great effect and despite its simple geometry to inspire real awe and feelings about the world you visit. I had a great time and am really looking forward to playing what White Elk is working on next.

Expertly paced masterpiece I had trouble getting into it at first. Mainly by not being in the right mindset (at work/home with distractions) the Go release reminded me to give another shot. I am so glad I did! Having some quiet time with game, I realise how wonderfully and subtly paced this game is. The environments and art direction gave me some out loud “wow” moments in the later half of the game. I really does live up to the hype with such an epic feeling of scale. Players just make sure you block out a good chunk of time to time to let this incredible game slowly suck you in. The jetpack platforming is a joy. As is throwing the artifact. Make sure you turn off the iris in the settings if you have your vr legs. It really is worth both your time and money. Fantastic!
