Play our freeplay demo of 'Goalscorer-the football world's strategy game' for your Supporters Club team! One day you could also play for your official team and country!
Goalscorer is the football world's strategy game, inspired by classic strategy games such as Chess. You don't need to enjoy football (soccer) to enjoy playing this game.
Goalscorer is based on a game mechanic called 'Your Strategy Game' which can be customised on other themes and not just football.
Goalscorer is:
- easy and quick to play,
- a game where you don't need the mental ability to think many moves ahead,
- inclusive, where dexterity and reaction times don't matter so anyone of any age can be the best.
This updated demo version of Goalscorer, called Goalscorer Training Edition, is free to play. We've made a number of changes since the first demo version was released. This current version has:
- A Singleplayer training game where you have a maximum of 15 minutes to beat one of several computer opponents you might face
- A Multiplayer game where you can play against other human players and have up to 5 minutes to beat your opponent
- A Team Select Function, where you can select to play the game for one of the teams in the game or select your own team name and team colours
- Leaderboards, where you can see how you compare with other players. We’ve also used our Leaderboards to raise funds for various charities.

WHAT'S NEW IN THIS VERSION
This version of Goalscorer is still a non-commercial version of the game. We've also continued to use the game as a method of raising funds for a number of charities. We've raised £1,400.00 in 23/24, and would like to raise more over the next few years should we get the sponsorship we need to continue improving the game.
This version of Goalscorer includes a handful of example demonstration ads to show how ads in a premium commercial version of the game could look and are not ads which generate revenue or interrupt the gameplay experience.
We've added Football Supporters Club teams to this version of the game to enable any supporter to play for their team. We've created all Goalscorer Supporters Club Team Names and colours for supporters of teams in the English Premier League. Supporters of other football teams can also create their own team names and shirt designs using the 'Create Custom Team' feature in the game.
Our goal is to get permission from football clubs to feature their official team shirts in a premier version of the game. We'd like to include national shirts too so the best Goalscorer players can be invited to play the game for their country.
