# A1 Scanner

A1 Scanner is a Flutter document scanning and document management application
for Android, iOS, web, and desktop. It combines a multi-page document scanner
with a toolkit of PDF utilities, OCR, QR/barcode scanning, and a persistent
internal document library — all offline (except optional Google Sign-In).

## Features

### Scanning
- **Scan Document** — multi-page document scanning with automatic edge detection
(`cunning_document_scanner`).
- **QR / Barcode** — scan QR codes and barcodes from the camera or from still
images (`mobile_scanner`).

### PDF tools
- **Images to PDF** — combine selected images into a single PDF.
- **PDF to Images** — render PDF pages as image files.
- **Merge PDF** — combine multiple PDFs into one, preserving vector content and
selectable text on untouched pages.
- **Split PDF** — extract a range of pages into a new PDF.
- **Reorder Pages** — drag-and-drop reorder of a PDF's pages.

### PDF editing
- **Sign PDF** — add a visual signature (hand-drawn or image-based).
- **Add Text** — place text annotations on a page (flattened on edited pages).
- **Highlight** — mark rectangular areas of a page.
- **Draw / Annotate** — freehand drawing on a page.

### OCR
- **Extract Text** — on-device OCR with word bounding boxes
(`google_mlkit_text_recognition`, Latin script).
- **Searchable PDF** — add an invisible text layer to a PDF using on-device OCR.

### Document management
- **Internal library** — every scanned document and tool result is stored in
the app's own files directory with readable, unique names.
- **Recent documents** — quick access to recently opened documents from Home.
- **Tags** — organize documents with tags; browse by tag.
- **Search** — search documents by name, tags, and (for OCR results) extracted
text.
- **Sort** — sort documents by name, date, or size.

### Export, share, and delete
- **Share** — send a document or tool result through the Android share sheet.
- **Export (Save As)** — use the system folder picker to save a copy anywhere.
- **Delete** — remove documents from the internal library.

### Settings
- **Theme** — light, dark, and system-default themes.
- **Home tools** — customize which tools appear on the Home screen grid.
- **Storage location** — pick a folder (via Android Storage Access Framework)
that new PDFs are also copied into.
