A1 Transit Driver is the driver app for Phoenix Transportation Management, DBA A1 Transit LLC — Arizona's specialty transportation network. It brings your shift, your route, your riders and your paperwork into one place, so you spend less time on your phone and more time on the road.

Built for non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), paratransit, wheelchair and ADA-accessible trips, and school and student transportation. It handles fixed routes carrying several riders as easily as individual trips.

LOCATION

A1 Transit Driver collects location data to share your real-time position with your dispatch office, including in the background and when the app is closed or not in use. Dispatch uses it to track your progress to a pickup, give riders and their care facilities an accurate arrival time, and assign nearby trips.

Location sharing starts only after you clock in and stops when your shift ends. The app stays fully usable without it — you can view your schedule, pay summary, messages, reports and profile at any time. Only clocking in and starting or updating a trip require location access.
