Overview
This app supports your desire to improve your kendama and top skills.
The excitement of getting your kendama or top hooked for the first time, the thrill of successfully spinning it, and the ability to share those feelings are essential for continued practice.
Based on the practice of the Koma Skills Test* and Kendama Test*, this app encourages communication centered around koma and kendama, helping everyone to continue practicing in a fun and healthy way at their own level, and helping you to improve before you know it.
Feature Overview
1. Kendama Test
Clicking on the Kendama Test will allow you to see a list of all the tricks listed on the Kendama Test website (Medal Challenge, Basic, Advanced, Expert, Master).
If you don't understand a trick, clicking the button to the right of each level will take you to the official YouTube link for the video.
Select the trick you've practiced from the trick list and select Practice Mode.
Two modes are available: "Routine Check" and "Trick Check."
Routine Check allows you to practice completing multiple selected tricks within the time limit. When you move to the Routine Check screen, the selected tricks will be displayed in red. Select the time required to complete the trick (for example, 3 minutes) and press the Start button to begin the countdown.
Once you've completed a trick, tap the trick name; it will turn green to indicate successful completion. Continue by attempting other tricks, aiming to complete all of them within the time limit.
Trick Check allows you to focus on practicing a trick and practice improving its perfection. Specifically, select a trick and click Trick Check to be taken to a screen displaying the selected trick.
From there, set the target number of attempts and time, and click the Start button to begin practicing. For example, if you set 5 attempts per minute, your goal is to complete the selected trick at least five times within 1 minute. Once you've completed a trick, click the PUSH button to count the number of successes.
Next, once you've decided on a routine you want to practice, you can save it. Select a saved trick from the list and click Save to My Tricks.
Then, enter a title for your selected routine and click Save to My Tricks. Saved routines can be accessed directly from My Tricks on the initial screen.
You can also view your saved tricks by clicking each list. You can delete or reorder tricks.
2. Koma Technique Test
Clicking Koma Technique Test will display a complete list of all tricks (for each grade and 1st to 6th dan) listed on the Koma Technique Test website.
If you don't understand a trick, click the button to the right of each grade to view the video via the official YouTube link.
After selecting the trick you want to practice from the trick list, select Practice Mode.
