AAKRI is a futuristic, environmentally friendly start-up aimed at addressing the growing waste and trash management challenges faced by communities and the environment as a whole.

It serves as a single go-to point for the disposal of every kind of waste that a common person may need to discard. This initiative was conceptualized in 2018 with a simple yet powerful idea: "To protect our landfills from plastic and recycle as much as possible for the environment." Since 2019, our team has been offering all-day scrap and junk pickup services to residential and commercial customers. You call us—we’ll come to pick up your scrap. It’s as simple as that.

The platform aims to help identify and map assets that streamline the collection of post-consumer waste, schedule efficient and cost-effective pickups, and integrate segregated waste into a reliable recycling/vendor network. In its current model, AAKRI pays customers for the scrap it purchases, based on the weight of the material. The collected materials are then segregated according to grade and type, and distributed to various recycling industries accordingly.

Our team will purchase anything that can be recycled. Over the years, AAKRI has expanded its network, adapted strategies, and embraced flexibility — which is the key to our growth story in the waste management space.

Residential, office, or corporate customers wishing to sell scrap or trash can schedule a pickup through the AAKRI App, raise a request on our website (www.aakri.in), or connect with us via our Toll-Free Number (1800-890-5089) to request a recyclable waste pickup.

Once the request is placed, our team confirms the pickup, arrives at the designated location at the scheduled time, evaluates and weighs the items, and loads them into the vehicle — all after paying the agreed amount to the customer.

We then segregate the collected waste into recyclable and non-recyclable categories and allocate them across our connected scrap network to various recycling industries.

Aakri app is the worst app. They are unable to provide a fixed date for pickup. The pickup date gets cancelled automatically. The Aakri app provides a facility to select a pickup date. I selected a date and contacted your team to confirm the availability. However, they were unable to confirm whether the waste and scrap items could be picked up on the selected date. If the date cannot be confirmed, then providing a date selection option in the app does not seem very user-friendly.

worst experience with the app,have booked for appointment on Feb 28 th and got it scheduled multiple time and on March 14 th without any intimation they cancelled the oder,also not picking up any phone calls now.i have dump of one month diaper that I have not searched for any alternative before since oder was confirmed and in call as well people confirmed oder Will be picked up but now no one is picking.worst experience

Amazing Service Received at Kochi side.Was cleaning store area and had some bulk item of disposables.Got the call morning on the scheduled pick up date and they came on time with all tools. Shahul cordinated the service and it was very easy. The staff were on time ,very friendly and well mannered .They explained everything clearly and took all the items at the mentioned rate. Great initiative to clean kochi . Very Satisfied with the App and staffs. Highly Recommended Service 5 stars.
