Abadan — A safe second-hand marketplace with your acquaintances.

Second-hand shopping is now safer. Abadan is a Turkish-made marketplace app that only shows ads from people you know in your phone book. Meeting strangers, being scammed, your phone number falling into the wrong hands — you won't experience these worries with Abadan.

WHY ABADAN?

🔒 Only acquaintances
You only see ads from Abadan users in your phone book. Foreign users are completely hidden. You already know the person posting the ad — trust is established from the start.

📞 Your number is never shared
Your phone number is encrypted with SHA-256 on your device. Our server never sees your number in plain text. The names of the people in your phone book also remain on your device and are never sent anywhere.

🎁 Not just money — give it away for free, trade, "whatever you offer"
In addition to classic priced ads: there are alternative ad types such as giving it away for free, trading, "I'll take whatever you offer". Let the ownership of the items change, let's do good for the environment.

💬 Direct Messaging
Communicate directly with your acquaintance who posted an ad, either through the app or via WhatsApp. Your messages are stored in the database in encrypted (AES-256-GCM).

🏪 Showcase Discovery
See the ads of the last 7 days at a glance in a vertical, sliding showcase. Quickly scroll, like, and hide ads you're not interested in.

🛡 GDPR Compliant
Your personal data is stored in accordance with the GDPR No. 6698. You can permanently delete your account and all your data at any time with a single click.

HOW IT WORKS?

1️⃣ Register
Create an account with SMS verification using your phone number. A one-time 6-digit code is sent with each login; no need to remember a password.

2️⃣ Sync Your Contacts
Your phonebook is hashed on your device and sent to Abadan. The server never sees names or numbers in the directory — it only matches.

3️⃣ See ads from your acquaintances
Active ads from Abadan users in your directory are listed in your personalized feed. No strangers, no random people.

4️⃣ Buy-Sell-Trade
Message ads, post your own ads, offer trades, give away for free. Trust is established from the start because you know each other.

SECURITY FEATURES
- All communication is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS
- Phone numbers are double hashed with SHA-256 on the device and HMAC-SHA256 + hidden pepper on the server
- Messages are encrypted with AES-256-GCM in the database (at rest)
- SMS verification with Twilio Verify — password/PIN is not stored
- One-click account deletion — data is permanently deleted
- No third-party ads/tracking
