I really wanted to like this app. Buggy is an understatement. If it worked as it should, it would be a good app. It fails to connect, cuts out and turns off randomly, and for the last few weeks it's been simply nonfunctional. The app kills battery, runs constantly and cannot be shut off...ever. It was a bit less buggy and borderline bearable for the first few months of use, but no longer. I am removing this app as soon as this review is sent.

There are not enough apps that work with this host, so not enough functions. The phone needs to be ON and unlock all the time in order to work, and it drains the battery fast. Stays running on the background it doesn't matter how many times it turns off it will keep turning back on and drains the battery. Maybe when Android Auto and Apple car play doesn't exist anymore, this will be the only option.

Don't buy pioneer! The web link receivers are garbage! They sound good, but you can get a regular non AV receiver that sounds better at a cheaper cost! This thing is a dumb receiver with a hosting interface. The app sucks battery, it sucks itself and the interface has horrible introductions. This seems like something the Chinese would develop. Never works, unless you give it permission to look into your whole phone and who knows what it does with the data it collects! Seems to have poor code.
