I would love to give this app 5 stars because the instrumental music is beautiful. I haven't found another app that compares but over the years that I've been listening to Abiding Radio, while I it seems to work fine on my laptop it keeps shutting down on my phone. I would love to be able to fall asleep to this lovely music but it would be impossible. Hopefully there will be a fix one day soon.

Excellent overall! Only thing: I feel like the "Bluegrass" station has morphed more into a Celtic style hymns station. I know a lot of people will say the difference between bluegrass and Celtic is too minute to tell, but I just got done listening to a track by Craig Duncan, and I feel like he's in more the Celtic style. I remember when you guys used to have more vocals in the Bluegrass station and more of what you'd actually think of bluegrass and I rather miss that. Maybe 2 separate stations

Good app with some great tunes but some challenges with battery optimization settings as others have noted. In Android 9 need to go to the system's Battery setting and then click on All Apps and find the Abiding Radio app and turn off Battery Optimization for this app. Some software engineers are good at setting up this so happens automatically on installation and some are not. The app attempted to do it when I installed but didn't work. Gets 5 stars if that is fixed.
