AbleLink Endeavor is the only research-based scheduling system available that contains specially-designed features for individuals with cognitive disabilities. The software enables people to become truly independent, self-paced and self-directed. With AbleLink Endeavor, you have in your hands a powerful tool for acquiring and reinforcing skills necessary for achieving independence across life activity domains including education, employment, independent living, recreation, and transition. Endeavor can also be used in conjunction with our Visual Impact prompting App. With Endeavor and Visual Impact on the same phone or tablet, time-sensitive reminders can connect to step-by-step instruction without requiring the user to exit or launch apps manually.

Many individuals – including people with intellectual disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, early onset dementia, and certain learning disabilities – have difficulty remembering when to perform key activities such as taking medications, taking care of pets, turning off appliances, locking doors, attending appointments, doing chores, performing self-care activities, remembering work tasks, recording homework schedules, or any other routine or non-routine activity of daily living. AbleLink Endeavor provides a format for these individuals to complete tasks independently and on time, thus freeing up staff or caregiver time and greatly enhancing the individual's independence and quality of life.

An important feature of any program designed to be used by individuals representing a wide range of cognitive abilities is the ability to modify the user interface to meet the specific needs of each person. AbleLink Endeavor provides multiple customization options so you can modify the user interface to match the individual's preferences.

Scheduled events via AbleLink Endeavor's Setup Wizard can be easily created for any type of time-based reminder. Setup uses the phone or tablet's integrated camera and voice-recording systems to obtain digital images and audio recordings as you go. Multimedia schedule content is then presented to the end user on a clean home screen interface. On the home screen, scheduled items are represented by text, a picture, and an audio recording. Examples may include "It's time to feed the dog before you go to work" accompanied by a picture of an empty dog dish, or "It's time to take your morning meds. Look at the picture on the screen to make sure you have the right ones."

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR GETTING STARTED: To access the Settings area on the App's main screen, you must tap and HOLD the "i" button in the upper right corner for at least 5 seconds. This is by design, in order to prevent accidental taps.
