A simple and effective way of turning auto brightness on/off without the time-consuming scroll through system settings. Add it to your app Favourites Tray and it's just one click to change (2 if you have an app or browser open) instead of 5 swipes/clicks. It's unbelievable this isn't a standard OS feature, at least not in Android 10, it should at least be a selectable shortcut on the slide-down quick-settings tray. I would give 5* if app showed at a glance whether auto brightness was on or off.

I found this app in my search to get around my phone's inability to set a minimum brightness threshold. Whenever I'm indoors or driving at night, the auto brightness goes down to 0% which is way too dark. That's where this app comes in handy. If I set my brightness for 25% and then click the "auto brightness switch" app, then the auto brightness functions like normal making the screen plenty bright when out doors. I hit the switch again at night and it goes back to 25%

I couldn't tell the difference between using this or my Samsung adaptive brightness. Developers, please email me if I'm doing something wrong. Uninstalled.
