About this app

Abuk is a Ukrainian application that collects audiobooks, e-books and popular podcasts.

The application already has 900+ audiobooks and 5000 e-books in Ukrainian, including exclusives from publishers. The range of books is constantly updated.

In Abuk, you can find both free books and paid books from Ukrainian and foreign authors. You can listen to and read books in the Abuk application.

You can also subscribe to the Abuk+ service, which provides access to the list of audio and e-books “Abuk+” for a selected period – for a month, 3 months or six months. We will be grateful for your feedback about the Abuk+ service at [e-mail].

Listen and read modern works or classics, fiction or non-fiction, detective stories and science fiction, books for children and poetry.
Books are voiced by professional narrators and Ukrainian writers. You can listen to audiobooks in the voices of Serhiy Zhadan, Pavlo Vyshebaba, Serhiy Prytula, Valery Markus, Evgeniya Kuznetsova, Artur Dron, Sonya Sotnyk, Dmytro Buzynsky and other voices.
The application makes it convenient to listen to audiobooks and read e-books:
- the ability to choose a convenient listening speed - from 0.1x to 3x - and set an auto-off timer before bedtime;
- 4 options for comfortable fonts, changing the font size, page color and text alignment in e-books;
- the ability to listen to and read books online and without access to the Internet. To listen to audiobooks offline, you must first download them to the application;
- before buying, you can listen to or read an excerpt from the book for free
bookmarks in e- and audiobooks;
- a function to comfortably listen to books in the car;
- dark and light mode of the application;
- the ability to gift audiobooks or e-books to friends.

Ratings and reviews

I like the variety of books ♥️ But, I have the issue, that player doesn't remember the exact place of stop, it's just start the chapter from the beginning. It's very inconvenient. I hope it will be fixed in the future.

Upd: problem is resolved. Thanks for the quick response! The app has a sporadic problem with audio playback. It keeps stopping/resuming by itself on random chapters when you try to listen to the audio book.

It was a nice surprise to run into an app that looks delightful and contains a lot of Ukrainian audiobooks!) It's pleasant to know that this area is growing and uses such modern and technological approaches
