Block spam SMS and MMS, political texts, marketing, and scams. SpamStop uses intelligent local filtering to categorize and suppress unwanted notifications automatically. This all occurs within your default SMS app - no need to replace or use a new SMS app!

SpamStop monitors incoming SMS and MMS in the background. When a message matches known spam patterns — political fundraising, unwanted marketing, and more — its notification is suppressed and a copy is saved to your SpamStop log. Messages from your contacts always get through, no matter what, and you can view each caught message within the SpamStop app if you want. The original message always stays in your messaging app, unchanged and undeleted.

📋 PERMISSIONS NEEDED
SpamStop requires SMS permissions (receive, read, send) and
notification listener access to detect spam and suppress its notifications. These are used solely for filtering and user-approved opt-outs — never for any other purpose.
