Document Details
Promulgation: The Constitution was promulgated on February 5, 1917, in Querétaro, and entered into force on May 1, 1917.
Reforms: It is the first Constitution in the world to include social rights, as embodied in Articles 3, 27, and 123.
Replacement: It replaced the 1857 Constitution, introducing fundamental changes such as the right to no presidential reelection and the right to free municipal elections.
