The new and improved BT app help’s users you plan a trip with step by step directions. The BT app is the best source of information for bus location and arrival times in Blacksburg, users can even follow the bus on the map!

Ratings and reviews

Barely functional, very glitchy and unreliable. Buses appear and disappear from the map for no reason. No easy way to see the full time schedule for a route. Edit: changed from 2 stars to 1 star. They have removed the routes from Google maps to force us to use their app/site. Shortly after, both the BT website and app are down and route info is completely unavailable. Thanks BT!!

A monkey missing all of their limbs could design a better app. The bus schedules need to have network connectivity even though for a majority of the time they are fixed and take forever to load. The bus tracking almost never works or isn't turned on. The app is slow even though there is little data needed. It will say "No buses are running" when they are. Busses will not show up when the app specifically says they will. I would rate 0 if I could.

Need lots of work. Clicking on a bus route does not highlight an app. Planning a route through the app is miserable. Does not show if a bus will change routes so you don't know if the bus you are on will switch routes halfway through your trip. I've seen busses switch routes when they leave a time stop not when they get to a bus stop. The app is semi useful for notices and sometimes for knowing where a bus is when it is late if the bus tracking feature works in the first place.
