Obligatory Prayer Reminder

About this app

Obligatory Prayer Reminder is a simple, private timer that reminds you to say your Bahá'í obligatory prayer on time.

Choose the prayer you say:
• Short obligatory prayer: reminders through the window from noon until sunset.
• Medium obligatory prayer: three windows, morning, noon and evening, each with its own Done button.
• Long obligatory prayer: you pick the time, the stop time and the days, with optional repeat reminders until you tap Done.

What you get
• A big, calm Done button. Tap it and the reminders stop until the next window.
• Sunrise and sunset worked out on your phone, from a place you type or an optional one-time approximate location.
• Noon is treated as 12:00 standard time, so it shows as 1:00 pm while daylight saving time is in effect.
• Repeat reminders only while a window is open, and quiet once it closes.
• Reminders come back by themselves after your phone restarts.
• A button that opens the official Bahá'í website, where the prayers are published.

Private by design
• No account, no ads, no tracking and no analytics.
• The app does not ask for internet access, so it cannot send anything anywhere.
• Your choices stay on your phone.

Please note
This is an independent app. It is not an official Bahá'í app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any Bahá'í institution. It is a reminder tool only and does not contain the prayers. Reminder times follow published Bahá'í guidance and may differ from what your community advises; please follow their guidance.
