About this app

Check incoming goods against an AQL sampling plan, count defects as you go, and keep a clean record.

SampleGate is a receiving-inspection helper for the dock. Enter the lot size, pick the inspection level and your AQL, and the app shows the sample size and the accept and reject numbers. Then tally the defects you find. The verdict updates live: ACCEPT, REJECT or still counting.

REFERENCE ONLY
SampleGate is an administrative record-keeping tool and a sampling reference. Its table covers single sampling, normal inspection, AQL 0.065 to 15. It does not include tightened or reduced inspection or switching rules. It was rebuilt from the published tables (ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 and ISO 2859-1 style) and may differ from the official standard. It does not certify any product, supplier or lot. Check important decisions against your own copy of the standard and your quality procedures.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Look up a single-sampling plan from lot size, inspection level (general I, II, III and special S-1 to S-4) and AQL.
- Record an inspection: supplier, part, PO, lot number, notes, inspector.
- Tally critical, major and minor defects with big one-tap counters. Critical defects use zero tolerance.
- See the live verdict and how many units are still to check.
- Take photos of defects with the camera or pick them from the gallery.
- Choose the disposition: accept, reject, hold, use as is, sort 100 percent, or return to supplier.
- Share a clean text summary through your phone's share sheet.
- Search your history by supplier, part, PO or lot.
- Back up all your inspections and part profiles to one file, and restore it later. Free.

- PDF inspection reports with your photos, and CSV export.
- Supplier scorecards: accept rate, defects found, recent results.
- Part profiles: save a part's usual supplier, plan settings, defect list and dimension checks.
- Dimension checks: enter readings against nominal plus or minus tolerance. Readings outside tolerance count as defects of the class you choose.
- Supplier corrective-action request drafts.
- Unlimited saved inspections and up to 12 photos each.

PRIVATE AND SIMPLE
- Works offline. No account, no ads, no tracking.
- Your records stay on your phone. You choose when to share anything. There is no automatic cloud backup: use the free backup file to keep a copy (photos are not part of the backup file).
- Large-text friendly, with dark, light and high-contrast looks.
- Inspection screens are in English. Menus, settings and notices are also available in Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Arabic.
